Eva Gertrude Mayer; 93; formerly of Charleroi; died Saturday; Jan. 18; 2003; in Severn; Md. A daughter of the late Edward and Mary Lohret Stemmler; Mrs. Mayer was born in Glenfield on Sept. 13; 1909. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi and had lived in Charleroi from 1953 until moving to Severn in 1989. Survivors include one daughter-in-law; Barbara Williams of Severn; one son-in-law; Paul Dudick of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren; Joseph Ed Williams Jr.; Jason Williams and wife Stacey; all of Elkridge; Md.; and Bonnita Williams of Severn; and one great-grandson; Benjamin Williams. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; George Mayer; in 1969; her son; Joseph Williams; on June 26; 2002; her daughter; Margaret Dudick; in 1989; two brothers; Edward and Frank Stemmler; and one sister; Alice Garritz.
