John Wozniak; 93; of Belle Vernon; Washington Township; died Friday; Jan. 10; 2003; at 12:30 a.m. at Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born May 14; 1909; in Fairhope; he was the son of the late; Joseph and Mary Brazzon Wozniak. Mr. Wozniak was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon area. He was a member of Holy Spirit R.C. Church; Fayette City; and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant; where he worked in the Open Hearth & B.O.F. He is survived by a daughter; Joan Anderson Krolik of Washington Township; of Washington Township; son and daughter-in-law; John and Jo Ann Wozniak; of Charleroi; sister; Julia Dobosh; of Waynesburg; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife; Anna Fidarnik Wozniak; two sons; Ernest and Thomas Wozniak; four brothers; Albert; Walter; Alex and Frank Wozniak and two sisters; Mary Halgas and Catherine Philip. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home; with the Rev. Leonard J. McAlpin; pastor of Holy Spirit Church; officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
