James Daryle Jeffries; 49; formerly of Monessen; died Wednesday; Dec. 18; 2002; in Somerset Community Hospital; Somerset. He was born May 8; 1953; in North Charleroi; a son of Cleo Whitlock and James Jeffries; who survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; William and Zadine Bronson. In addition to his parents; he is survived by one son; David Jeffries of Monessen; three brothers; Devin Whitlock of Monessen and Darran Whitlock and wife Michelle of Woodbridge; Va.; and Jim Jeffries of Duquesne; one sister; Melody Jones and husband Bernard of Elizabeth; four nieces; Kelly Rawlins; Nychole Whitlock; Sierra Whitlock and Destiny Whitlock; two nephews; Allan Rawlins Jr. and Darius Whitlock; and numerous aunts; uncles and cousins. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Union Baptist Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The BEVERLY C. DRAPER FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
