Obituary

Christopher Manos, 72, of Dunlevy, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 1, 1930, in Allenport, he was a son of Bessie Kinigos Manos of Delmont and the late Thomas Manos. He was retired from Clairton U.S. Steel, a former Dunlevy police chief, a former Washington County constable, and a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen. Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Valerie and Keith Clement of Belle Vernon and Lynn Manos of Missouri, one son, Tom Manos of the State of California, one sister, Helen Kokias of Pittsburgh, four grandchildren, Charmaine Sevy, Eric and David Riili, and Nick Manos, and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Savannah Riili of Erie. He was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Bucchianeri, and one brother, Pete Manos. There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, Monessen, with the Rev. Hieromonk Joachim Pantelis, Protopresbyter, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., Charleroi, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, Pittsburgh.
