Obituary

Ann O. Davis, 68, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Sept. 16, 1934, in Deatsville, Ala., a daughter of the late William Greaty Bowden and Lula Pearl Dillered. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard R. Davis, on Sept. 9, 1998. She was Protestant by faith. Survivors include one son, Bernard W. Davis and wife Renee of McClellandtown, four daughters, Belinda Longnecker and husband Garmon of Belle Vernon, Jonalyn Fink of Florida, Kimberly Wise and husband Dale of Belle Vernon, and Virginia Martinak and husband Thomas of Perryopolis, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four sisters, Betty Webb, Ida O'Quinn and Nell Hilderoff, all of Florida, and Mary Ellen Sutton of Tennessee, and three brothers, Raymond Bowden of Pennsylvania, and Clyde and George Bowden, both of Alabama. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, and Tuesday until 10 a.m., the hour of service in the funeral home with the Rev. Vane Kiffer of Tionesta, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
