Funeral services were held Tuesday; Aug. 20; 2002; for Donald C. Staley; 73; of Ferncliff Drive; Belle Vernon; in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; with the Rev. Tim McConville; pastor of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Mr. Staley died Saturday; Aug. 17; 2002; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Richeyville on April 1; 1929. He retired in 1987 from Monongahela Concrete Products and had resided in Belle Vernon for over 30 years. Survivors include four stepdaughters; Shirley Chucuddy of Allenport; Beverly Davids of Seattle; Wash.; Donna Petrosky of Belle Vernon; and Sandra Baker of Pittsburgh; one stepson; Kenneth Baker of Hedgeville; W.Va.; three brothers; George and Louis Staley; both of Michigan; and Calvin Staley of Scenery Hill; and 13 step grandchildren. Mr. Staley was preceded in death by his wife; Sue McCune Staley in 1989. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
