Obituary

Anne L,O'Hara Myers Barch,87,of Rostraver Township,died Friday,Aug.2,2002,in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born April 15,1915,in Webster,a daughter of the late Francis and Mabel Houseman O'Hara. She was a resident of Rostraver Township for the past 32 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon,where she served as a deacon,the H.O.A.and worked in many church activities,volunteering for pot pie dinners and soup and sandwich luncheons. She was a homemaker and assistant aide with the special education class intermediate unit,Westmoreland County. She was also an All-Star basketbell player in high school for Belle Vernon. Survivors include her husband,Stanley Barch,to whom she was would have been married 33 years on Sept.25,one daughter,Judith Myers Kornlsky of North Belle Vernon,one son and daughter-in-law,Timothy and Kathy Myers of Rostraver Township,one step-son and step-daughter-in-law,Francis and Barbra Barch of Fellsburg,one step-daughter and step-son-in-law,Beatrice and Clayton Partridge of Detroit,Mich,three grandchildren,Kurt Kornlsky and wife Carissa of Webb City,Mo.,Kerry Kornosky Funair and husband Frank of Tulsa,Okla.,and Megan Myers of Rostraver Township,two great-grandchildren,Kaylee and Evan Kornlsky,and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband,Herbert Carter Myers in 1968,one brother,Bill O'Hara and one sister,Frances Bowers. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the LEONARD J.PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME,Family owned and operated,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Relatives and friends will gather Monday morning at the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon,Fayette Street,for services at 9:30 a.m.with the Rev.James C.Ramsey officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Elders and deacons of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon will pay respects Sunday at 7 p.m.in the funeral home.
