Obituary

David Trembach, 72, of Indiantown, Fla., passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2002. A son of the late Joseph and Sophia Fekula Trembach, he was born in Pricedale on June 12, 1929. Mr. Trembach was a member of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and attended the Port St. Lucie, Fla., Christian Church. He also belonged to the Russian Club of Pricedale and Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Formerly of Belle Vernon, Mr. Trembach resided in Florida for the past 14 years. He had been a teacher, principal and elementary supervisor for the former Rostraver Township schools and was an educational sales consultant for 18 years, where he served as president of the Pennsylvania Educational Salesman's Club for one year. Mr. Trembach finished his career as an elementary teacher in Canal Point, Fla., schools, retiring in 1992. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Grace Martin Trembach, three daughters and sons-in-law, Devorah and Paul Bozella of Cresson, Karen and Bernard Jendrusik of Greenville, Ohio, and Jody and Ken Nogan of Butler, one sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Allen Hamer of Belle Vernon, four brothers and one sister-in-law, John Trembach of Lorain, Ohio, Joe Trembach of Pittsburgh, and George and Rose Trembach and Leon Trembach, all of Lorain, Ohio, nine grandchildren, Paul David, Katie, Matthew, Stephen, Kristin, Garrett, Brooke, Aaron and Kellie, and one great-grandson, Jacob. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., a Golden Rule Member Firm, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will meet in funeral home to hold services on Friday at 7 p.m.
