Georgia Stanko; 81; of Morgantown; W.Va.; formerly of Fayette City; died Sunday; June 2; 2002; at the home of her daughter; Judith Gibbs. She was born April 5; 1921; in Washington Township; the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fields. She was a member of the Fayette City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Judith and E. Richard Gibbs III of Morgantown; W.Va.; and Linda Lee and John S. Mattay Jr. of Fayette City; five grandchildren; Adam Mattay of Fayette City; Amy Louise Gibbs of Minneapolis; Minn.; Shelly Gibbs Stiansen and husband David of Indianapolis; Ind.; and Cheryl Elizabeth and Richard Zachary Gibbs of Morgantown; W.Va.; and one great-grandson; David Justice Fields Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her husband; George Stanko; on Feb. 16; 1996. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional viewing will take place Thursday; June 6; in the Fayette City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church from 10 to 11 a.m.; when funeral services will be held with the Rev. Paul Cope officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery
