Margaret E. Allen; 85; of Rostraver Township; died Monday; Jan. 21; 2002; in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Katherine Nemoseck Lewis; she was born Sept. 26; 1916; in Monessen. A resident of Rostraver Township for more than 65 years; she retired after 10 years of employment for the former Montgomery Ward Co. of Charleroi. Survivors include a daughter; Bonnie Hertz of Rostraver Township and a granddaughter and grandson-in-law; Carla and John Rayman of Upper St. Clair. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; John R. Allen; in 1969; three brothers; John P. Lewis; Nicholas Louis and James Lewis; and two sisters; Irene Bevis and Clara Clymer. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave. Belle Vernon; where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.; with the Rev. John Custer officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
