David W. MacDonald Sr.; 84; of Perryopolis; died Saturday; Jan. 19; 2002; at 8:04 p.m. in his home. He was born Jan. 6; 1918; at Whipple; W.Va.; a son of the late David and Dorothea McClanahan MacDonald. He was a member of Pennsville Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. MacDonald retired from the General Refractory Brick Yard after 32 years of service and retired from Uniontown Hospital after 15 years. He is survived by his wife; Ursaline Delp MacDonald; two sons; David N. MacDonald and wife; Evelyn; of Charleston; N.C.; and Douglas L. MacDonald and wife ;Linda L.; of Perryopolis; four grandchildren; Randy and Shay MacDonald; Lane Ellen Moquin and Neil MacDonald; three great-grandchildren; English MacDonald; Kane MacDonald and Austin Moquin; one sister; Mrs. Jessie Jennion of Baltimore; Md.; three brothers; Frank Knight and wife ;Joan; of Dawson; Henry Knight and wife; May; of Layton; and Jack Knight of Tucson; Ariz. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC.; 106 E. Independence St.; Perryopolis Tuesday from Noon to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 10 a.m.; the hour of service; with Pastor Robert H. Bixel officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
