Gladys L. Easton; 98; of Henderson; Nev.; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Saturday; Nov. 10; 2001; in Henderson. She was born May 24; 1903; in Allenport; a daughter of the late Haylet and Louisa Kraft Easton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Formerly of Belle Vernon; she resided in Brownsville; Texas from 1979 until she moved back to the Mon Valley in 1998. She then moved to Nevada in 2001. She had worked at the former First National Bank of Belle Vernon; the Easton Pharmacy of Charleroi; and had traveled for the Richard Hudnet Company; maker of DuBurry Cosmetics. Survivors include two great-nephews; Dr. Eric Easton of Henderson; Nev.; and Jack R. Easton of Sandy; Utah; and a niece by marriage; Dorothy Easton of Charleroi. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one brother; Wilfred E. Easton; and a nephew; Wilfred Erbin Easton Jr. Funeral services will be in the chapel of Belle Vernon Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Tom Ravasio of Mon Valley Community Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
