Archie J. Clark; 85; of Fort Myers; Fla.; formerly of Monessen; passed away on Monday; Nov. 5; 2001; in the Shady Rest Nursing Home; Fort Myers; Fla. Born Dec. 3; 1915; in Belle Vernon; he was a son of the late Clarence E. and Anna Mae Jewell Clark. Mr. Clark had been employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in the pipe mill and worked as a chain tech. He had also been a member of the First Baptist Church in Monessen. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Esther I. Carroll Clark; and two brothers; Harry and Chuck Clark. Survivors include a daughter; Beverly J. Morgan of Lehigh Acres; Fla.; two sons and a daughter-in-law; Gerald C. and his wife Mary Ann Clark of Glen Burnie; Md. and Bill E. Clark of Nevada; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister; Clara Miller of North Charleroi. Visitation will be held in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen; a Golden Rule Member Firm; on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Scott W. Koeppen officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
