Michael Metrosky;85; of 310 Washington Road; Belle
Vernon; Washington Township;
died Thursday Sept. 20. 2001.
at 3:55 p.m. at the home of his
daughter. He was born Oct. 31;
1915. in Arnold City; son of the
late Charles and Anna Bakush
Metrosky. Mr. Metrosky had been a resident of Washington Township for the past 47 years
and was Byzantine Catholic by faith. He was a retired owner of
Lynnwood Service Station and
was also retired from the
Bethlehem Coal Mine.
Surviving are his wife. Anna
Sobeck Metrosky; to whom he
was married 62 years: a son
and daughter-in-law. Ted and
Carol Metrosky of Rostraver
Township; two daughters;
Marlene Bradley of Rostraver
Township and Patricia Morris
of Washington Township: six
grandchildren. Chuck
Metrosky and Michael
Metrosky. both of the state of
California; Jeffrey Metrosky
and his wife Lisa of
Greensburg; Wesley Bradley
and Brooke Bradley; both of
Rostraver Township. and
Michaele Fisher and husband
Jeffrey of Library: and one
great-grandson. Zachary
Thomas Metrosky of
Greensburg. He is also
survived by several nieces and
nephews. In addition to his
parents; he was preceded in
death by a son. Charles
Metrosky on Nov. 15; 1973; and
a sister. Florence Kurowski.
Visitation will be held Friday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in
the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI
FUNERAL HOME; family-owned
and operated; 626 Broad
Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral
services will be held Saturday
at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Belle
Vernon Cemetery.
