Leona J.Kunka;79;of Monessen;went to be with the Lord;Monday;Sept.17;2001. She was born Oct.2;1921 in Bentleyville;a daughter of the late Thomas and Anne Biscoe Mendola. She was a member of First Christian Church;Monessen;where she had served as financial secretary. Surviving are her childen;Thomas G.Keller and his wife Denise of Uniontown;Bonnie Kunka of Monessen;and Tracy Price and her husband Matthew of Allison Park. Mrs.Kunka is also survived by her grandchildren;Jordan;Dylan;Stephen;Brian;Jeremiah and Joshua. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Jess W.Kunka;and two sisters;Elaine Mendola and Irene Pagano. Friends will be received in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;a Golden Rule Funeral Home;today from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Conrad Auel officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers;donations may be made to the First Christian Church;Monessen;in her honor.
