Obituary

Anna Pobok Hussar,83,of Coal Center,formerly of Henry Street, Belle Vernon,went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday,Sept. 11,2001,at 1:25 a.m. at the home of her daughter.  She was born April 23,1918,in Arnold City,a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Kassik Pobok.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Hussar,on Dec. 17,1993,and a brother, Michael Pobok.  She was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon area and a homemaker.  She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,and St. Barbara's Guild. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law,Alvin George and Dolores Hussar of Warren,Ohio,and Larry Michael Hussar of Belle Vernon, a daughter and son-in-law,Shirley Ann and David Granato of Coal Center with whom she made her home;a sister, Mary Brassart of Fairhope;10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received Wednesday,2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.,in the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME,family owned and operated,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Mary Street,Belle Vernon,on Thursday,9 a.m. for funeral services,with the Rev. Father John J. Klutchko,pastor, officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Parastas services will be Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
