Obituary

Mary Louise Amoroso Fedarko, 82, of West Newton, formerly of Belle Vernon, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at 9:25 p.m., in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Born Oct. 25, 1919, in Belle Vernon, she was a daughter of the late Gregorio and Filomena Menacci Amoroso. Mrs. Fedarko was a resident of West Newton for the past six years, having previously resided in Belle Vernon all of her life. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, and was retired from Corning Glass Co., Charleroi, where she worked as a glassworker. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley and Donald Heskey of Greensburg, Sandra and Edward Miller of Belle Vernon and Philomena Fedarko of West Newton, two sisters, Lumenia Spurlin of Rock Port, Mo., and Annie Fontanelli of Monongahela, three granddaughters, Michele Crampo and husband, Shawn, of Mt. Pleasant, Emily Green and husband, Ed, of Belle Vernon and Dawn Marie Goodhart and husband, Chad, of Lititz, and three great-grandchildren, Edwin Joseph Green, Kelsey Marie Green and Abigail Rose Crampo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Fedarko Jr., on Jan. 18, 1983, seven brothers, Bill, Joe, Guido, George, Attilio, Charles and Dominick Amoroso, and a sister, Natalie Costantino. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, with the Rev. George Saletrik, parochial vicar, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary Thursday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
