Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon;January 30;1924;from the United Brethren Church for Vecelles Smock;the fifteen year old son of Mr.and Mrs.Russell Smock;who died Monday January 28;1924;at the home of his uncle and aunt;Mr.and Mrs.John Leonard of Sixth street. The sermon was preached by Rev.Ralston;pastor of the church and the service was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing friends. The body was laid to rest in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
