Charleroi; died Friday; July 6;2001; in McMurray Hills
Manor. He was born July 10;1944; in Lock Four; a son of the
late John Edward and Martha
Ruth Peck Chew. He was a
social member of the American
Legion Post 22; Charleroi;
where he also served as a bartender. He was employed for a
number of years at the former
Stetz Distributors and City
Distributors. Survivors include
three brothers; Robert Chew of
Charleroi; Ronald Thomas
Chew of Badaxe; Mich.; and
Wayne Dale Chew of Columbus; Ohio. He was preceded in death by one brother;John W.Chew. Friends will be received
Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the LEONARD M.
PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES
INC.; 235 Fallowfield Ave.;
Charleroi; where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11
a.m.; with the Rev. Dr. Stephen
Hurnyak officiating. Interment
will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
