Margaret M.Farquhar;90;of Brownstown;Fayette City;died Friday;June 8;2001;in her home. She was born Aug.3;1910;in Washington Township;a daughter of the late George and Stella Usher Moody. She was a member of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Merle Cuddy Farquhar;a daughter Betty Stewart;brothers;George Williams;George Moody;James Moody;and Raymond Moody;two sisters;Ada Gould and Hannah Miller;and a grandson;John Farquhar. Survivors include her children;Merle Farquhar Jr.and wife Marge of Allenport;Rita Gilbert and husband Charles of Belle Vernon;Nancy Williamson of Fayette City;sisters;Mary Bell Moistner of Indiana;Edith Cunko of Fayette City;Stella Nell Delia and husband Joseph of Port Vue;and 14 grandchildren. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.;334 Main St.;Fayette City;on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday;June 12;until 11 a.m.;the hour of services in the funeral home with the Rev.Michael Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
