Samuel Gayman Zollars,aged 14 years,died Friday,June 28,1929 at 5 p.m. in the Allegheny General Hospital,Pittsburgh,following a brief illness. On June 19 he suffered a compound fracture of the right arm,and was seemingly doing well until at an early hour on Friday morning when tetanus developed. He was rushed to the hospital where every medical effort was made to save his life. He was a patient sufferer and was hopeful to the last of being among his friends who loved him and will miss him for his bright and cheery disposition. He is survived by his mother, Mrs Mary Leamard Zollars, two brothers, Russell and William, and two sisters, Lillian and Virginia Mae. His father, John R. Zollars preceded him in death in September, 1924. Samuel was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Monessen, and a regular attendant at Sunday school of the same church. Funeral services will be held at the late home in 319 Pennsylvania avenue, North Charleroi, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
