John Russell Zollars aged 40 years and 5 months died at an early hour Saturday morning,September 9,1924, at his home in North Charleroi. The deceased came to this city in 1905 and since that time has made his home here and at North Charleroi. Early in life he united with the First Baptist Church at West Newton and at the time of his death was a member of the same church in this city. In 1910 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Leornard of this city and besides the widow the following children survive: Russell, Lillian, Samuel, William and Virginia May. His mother, Mrs. J. H. Zollars of North Charleroi, and the following brothers and sisters also survive, I. G. Zollars of North Charleroi, Mrs. Laura Eisley and Mrs. J. H. Hoop of Beaver Falls, W. B. Zollars of Mckeesport, and W. L. Zollars of Connellsville. Funeral services will be held from the home of his mother on Pennsylvania avenue, North Charleroi, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
