Alexander Yackanich,aged 55 years,of Passaic, New Jersey,who had been visiting his brother Samuel Yackanich,at Naomi,died Tuesday, August 14,1945, at 2 p.m. He was born in Austria-Hungary,August 25,1891,and was a member of the Greek Catholic Church in New Jersey. He is survived by two brothers, Samuel of Naomi and one other brother in Europe,and two sisters, both in Europe. Friends will be received at the home of his brother, Samuel Yackanich in Naomi. Services will be held there Saturday,August 18,1945,at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
