Raymond Pete Watkins,Jr.of 414 May street, Belle Vernon,died at his home,Monday,April 25,1949,at 9:35 a.m. He was born August 1,1932,in Rostraver Township,and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. He is survived by his parents,Mr.and Mrs. Raymond Watkins,Sr.,two sisters, Urella Watkins at home and Mrs. Marie Johnson of Monessen,and his paternal grandfather, Albert Watkins of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the home of his parents,Mr.and Mrs. Raymond Watkins,Sr. Services will be held there Thursday,April 28,1949,at 1:30 p.m.,followed by additional services at 2 p.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,in charge of Rev. Benjamin Butler. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
