William Thomas West, aged 27 years, 911 McKean avenue, Charleroi, died in Sewickley Valley hospital, Monday, January 3,1944 at 6:55 a. m. following injuries received in an accident when an automobile, in which he was riding crashed into a pole on icy Ohio River Boulevard in Haysville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sue West, of Charleroi, and a brother, Robert G. West, U. S. Navy. Friends are being received at the Check Funeral home,where services will be held Thursday afternoon,January 6,at 1:45 p.m.,with Rev. Charles G.White,of the U.B.Church,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Joseph R. Check,funeral director,in charge.
