Obituary

Franklin A. (Buddy) Wassilchalk,Pricedale, died Monday,November 16,1942 from injuries he received when he was struck by a truck.  He was nine years old. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wassilchalk. The lad was crossing Ohio St.,in the mining community and was walking toward Kara's Store when the truck swung from Main street and struck him. Buddy was in the fourth grade at the LaGrange school,Rostraver Township,and is survived by his parents,Mr.and Mrs. John Wassilchalk;one sister,Dolores and one brother, John.  Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon until Thursday at 2 p.m. when funeral services will be held in charge of Rev. Gregory Soroka,of St. John's Russian Orthodox Church, Charleroi. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
