Edith Mae Walkush,aged 15,a sophomore in hte North Belle Vernon high School,died Sunday,September 18,1938 at 1:25 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital following an illness of seven weeks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning from her late home in Brown street with Mass at the St. Sebastian Church at 9:30 a.m. Father James J. O'Connell will be the officiant. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. She is survived by her parents,Mr.and Mrs. Joseph Walkush,eight sisters, Mrs. George Moxin,of Perryopolis,Mrs. Harry Ezolt,of Monessen,Mrs. Jerry Altirei,of Pittsburgh,Mrs. Clarence Helen of Belle Vernon,Mrs. ALbert Cuicci of Newell,Mrs. David Boyd,of New York,and Mildred and Cecelia,at home. Three brothers also survive,Carl Walkush of Fayette City,and Joseph and Melvin,at home. The deceased was a member of the Young Ladies Sodality of the St. Sebastian Church.
