Obituary

A sudden heart attack ended the life of Elmer Wilkinson, aged 59 years, well known resident of Clarksburg, W. Va., and formerly of Belle Vernon, Monday, July 5, 1937, at noon at the family residence. Mr. Wilkinson visited at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Irons, of Belle Vernon, on Saturday and apparently was in good health. His death on Monday was a shock to the family as well as friends. The deceased was born in Belle Vernon on March 3, 1878, a son of the late Samuel Q. and Mrs. Mary Wilkinson. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Wilkinson and one son Clifton, of Clarksburg; two brothers, John Y. Wilkinson of Belle Vernon, and Hubert Wilkinson, of North Charleroi; and one sister, Mrs. James Irons, of Belle Vernon. The remains are being brought to the Irons' residence in 113 Pearl street, Belle Vernon, where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
