Benjamin Franklin Vaughn,a resident of Monessen for the past 35 years,died suddenly at 7 o'clock Monday morning,March 29,1943,at 515 Donner avenue. He was aged 87 years. Before his retirement he was employed at the Pittsburgh Steel Company. Surviving are four children,Lee Vaughn,Lock Four;Kenneth Vaughn,Monessen;Miss Elizabeth Vaughn,Portsmouth,Ohio;and Frank Vaughn,Peoria,ILL. Five grandchildren also survive. His wife preceded him in death in 1900. Friends are being received at the Harper Funeral Home.
