Tillman Trotter,1152 Schoonmaker avenue,died Saturday, Jan. 27,1951 in the Torrance State Hospital. The deceased was born in Phillips, Miss.,coming to Monessen in 1929. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church,where he served as a trustee and sang in the choir and the Gospel Chorus until his illness. He is survived by two sisters,Mrs. Jimmie Lee Morgan and Mrs. Tallulah Naul,of Monessen and two brothers, Johnnie Trotter,Indianapolis,Ind.,and Frank Trotter,of Phillips,Miss. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends are being received at the Whitaker Funeral Home until Saturday,Feb.3,when funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Union Baptist Church with Rev. H. A.S. Cooke officiating.
