Leonard Thompson,age 77,died at 4:50 on Monday morning,March 9,1934 following a lingering illness at his home on Broad avenue, North Belle Vernon. A pioneer resident of Belle Vernon,the deceased had also been a member of the Odd Fellows for over half a century. He was also affiliated with the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife and one son,Russell C. Thompson,and a grandson,James A. Thompson. Funeral services will be held form the home Wednesday at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev.J.J.Buell,with interment following in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
