Michael Sveda,Sr.,of Gillespie.Fayette City,R.D.1.died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital, Saturday,November 11,1950,at 9:50 p.m. He was born in Czechoslovakia,July 15,1879,and was a member of the Holly Ghost Greek Catholic Church in Charleroi. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Sveda;two sons, Stephen and Michael at home;three daughters, Mrs. Mary Voytek,Mrs. Ann Arth and Miss Catherine Sveda of Cleveland,Ohio;two brothers, Stephen of Akron, Ohio and Joseph of Shamokin, Pa., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the George McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City on Wednesday,November 15,1950 at 9 a.m.,followed by additional services at 10 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Greek Church,in chage of Rev. Michael Kaimakan. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
