William H. Stamm of 215 Mckean avenue, Charleroi,died at his summer home at Carlton, Pa.,Mercer County,of a heart attack,Monday, August 14,1950, at 9 p.m. He was born in Southside, Pittsburgh, September 30,1873,the son of Gerge C. and Catherine Pfeil Stamm. He came to Charleoi in 1912 from Kitanning, and was a member of a Methodict church in Pittsburgh, and the F. and A.M.,615 Charleroi. He was a retired civil engineer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Taylor Stamm, one son,William H. Stamm,Jr. of Meadville,one daughter,Mrs. Catherine Clark of Chicago, Illinois,and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Lawrence B. Frye Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday, August 18,1950,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Meade A. Rugh. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Lawrence B. Frye is the funeral director.
