Mrs. Harriet Scrivener, 89, of Rostraver Township, died at her home near the LaGrange school on Tuesday, April 4, 11950, at 5:55 p.m.. She was born in Belle Vernon and resided in that vicinity all her life. She was one of the oldest residents of Rostraver Township. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Preceded in death by her husband twenty-seven years ago, she is survived by one son, Offie Patterson of Pricedale, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Carnes at home, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday,April 7,1950,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev.Joseph Michaels. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. Melenyzer is the funeral director.
