John Walter Scott,aged 58 years,114 Ninth street,died Tuesday,March 7,1950,at 9:15 p.m.,following a long illness. He is survived by his widow,Mrs. Susie Scott;three brothers,Willie and Harrison of Richmond,Va.,and Frank of New York City;three sisters,Evelyn of Washington,D.C.,and Marhta and Carrie of Richmond. Friends are being received at the Draper Funeral Home on Ninth street. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Union Baptist Church with Rev. H.A.S.Cooke officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
