John Nicholas Stoll,aged 75 years,died Monday morning,December 6,1948,at 12:15 at his home,212 Rostraver street. Born in Germany,he was one of the early residents of Monessen.He has been retired for some time. For a number of years he conducted a bakery on Donner avenue. He was a member of Monessen Lodge No. 638 F.&A.M. Surviving are his wife,Mrs. Mary Stoll,a daughter, Miss Alice Stoll,at home,and a son, Robert Stoll,of Warren,Ohio. A brother,Matthew,former Monessen man,now residing in McKeesport,also survives. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home,262 Donner avenue,where funeral services will be held Wednesday,December 8 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Allen J. Howes,of the Methodist Church,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Melenyzer and Ferguson,funeral directors.
