Mrs. Margaret Ann Sarver Barrett, age 67 years,formerly of Newell and Elco,died in the United States Marine hospital,Norfolk,Virginia,Monday,April 28,1947,at 2:30 a.m. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Newell. She is survived by five sons, Monty Sarver,C.Ph.M.,United States Coast Guards, Alexandria,Virginia, Percy,East McKeesport,Brilliant of Baseline,Michigan,George of St. Clair Shore,Michigan,Isaac of Detroit,one daughter, Mrs. Bert Johnston of Donora,four brothers,John Stidard of Hazelwood,Isaac,Noan and Charles Stidard of Fredericktown,two sisters,Mrs. Dora Watson of Fredericktown and Mrs. Pearl Barbour of Washington,Pa.,twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday,May 2,1947,at 2:30 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Evan Buhan,pastor of the Newell Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. and Edwin Melenyzer are the funeral directors.
