James Stevenson,85 years,520 Donner avenue,died Wednesday, July 10,1946 at 9:30 a.m. at his home. He had been a resident of Monessen for the past 34 years,having been born in Lonaconing,Md. He was last employed as watchman at Pittsburgh Steel Co. here,and was a member of the K. of P. in Lonaconing. Surviving are the following children;Frank and William of Cleveland;Mrs. Guy Braddock,Mrs. Leon Delbarre and Cornelius Stevenson,of Monessen;10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren;three sisters,Mrs. John Ralston of Monessen,Mrs. Janet Shontz,of California,and Elizabeth of Gary,Ind.;four brothers,Frank,Dick,Alex and George of Monessen. Friends are being received at the Woodward Home for Funerals.
