Henry J. Schmidt, aged 65 years, died Tuesday morning,October 8,1940 at 8 o'clock at his home 222 Main street, Belle Vernon. He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Schmidt and a son, John H. Schmidt, of Dormont. Three brothers, Charles and Rudolph Schmidt and William Schmidt, of McKeespbrt, also survive, along with three sisters, Mrs. Mary Price, Belle Vemon, Mrs. Christine French and Mrs. Pearl Dowdell, of Wilkinsburg. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral home in Belle Vernon, vvhere services will be held Thursday, October 10, at 2 p. m., with Rev. James N. Rainey, pastor of the Christian Church, officiating. Interment will follow an the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
