Ross O.Shephard;aged 57;a resident of Monessen until two months ago;died at the home of a relative;John Reese;Lincoln Place;near Homestead;Pa.at twelve noon on Sunday;July 7;1940. He had been ill for a period of two years. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Gwendolyn Shephard;one daughter;Mrs.Mary Dessent of Belle Vernon;three sons;Ross of Belle Vernon;Joseph and Robert of Monessen;one brother;Edward Shephard of Braddock;and one sister;Alice of Swissvale.Friends will be recieved at the Toner Funeral Home;626 Broad Avenue;Belle Vernon;until Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock when services will be held;the Rev.G.C.White officiating.
