August Sylvester,aged 72 years,died Sunday,April 16,1939,at his home in Graham avenue, East Belle Vernon,after an illness of five days of pneumonia and complications. The deceased was born in Italy,coming to this country 35 years ago. He was a member of the St. Sebastian Church,the Sons of Italy lodge of Belle Vernon,and the Garibaldi lodge of Dunlevy. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Harry Sylvester,Mrs. James Trombino,Mrs. Louise Huzela and Mrs. Geno Niccolai,all of Belle Vernon;Mrs. Mary Briza of Monongahela,and Mrs. Ernest Cerini,Mrs. Hugh Gallo and Mrs. Michael Botsko of Donora. A brother residing in Italy and a sister in Pittsburgh also survives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Sebastian Church,with Rev. J.J. O'Connell officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
