Obituary

Samuel shorter,56,of Pricedale was struck and fatally injured about 9:30 p.m. Sunday night,April 22,1934, on the road leading from the highway past the Victoria Coal Company tipple to Pricedale. Mr. Shorter,crossing the highway,was struck a terrific blow and instantly killed.  He was removed to the McCrory morgue at Fayette City. He is a married man with several children and is employed as a miner.
