Samuel Rockidge,aged 62, of Warner,Charleroi R.D.,died at his home of a heart attack Thursday morning,Nov. 9,1948. He was a member of the Croatian Lodge of Monessen. Surviving are his wife,Helen;four sons,John,at home,Steve of Fayette City, Thomas and George,both of Charleroi;six daughters,Mrs. William Simmons and Mrs. George Pulaski,of Charleroi,Mrs. Charles Hager of Bentleyville,Mrs. Harry Tharp of Ambridge,Miss Helen Rockidge of Coraopolis and Miss Elizaberth Rockidge at home and 12 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late residence until Friday,Nov. 12, at 9 a.m. when Requiem Mass will be held at St. Jerome's Church with Rev. Fr. James McKeever officating.
