Obituary

An Italian boy of Belle Vernon,named Marino Reed,aged about 11 years old,had both legs injured Sunday afternoon,Nov.10,1918,about 2 o' clock,and died later in the Monongahela hospital. He and some other boys jumped a freight train to go to Gibsonton to play ball.  Young Reed missed his footing and fell under the train. One leg was ground off above the knee and the other below the knee.
