Nicholas Plevel,age 27 years,died at his home at Belle Vernon R.D.2, Thursday,August 12,1943,at 12:30 a.m. He was an employee of the Belle Vernon plant of the American Window Glass Company. He is survived by his wife, Marian Plevel,one infant son,Nicholas Paul,his father,Mike Plevel of North Charleroi,four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Sendek of Monessen,Mrs. Anna Husovitz of Charleroi,and Margaret and Catherine of North Charleoi;four brothers,Pfc. Martin Plevel of Jefferson Barracks, Missouri,Steve of Carnegie,Joseph and Frank of North Charleroi. Friends will be received at the late home until time for services Sunday,August 13,1943,at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Joseph R. Check of Monessen is the funeral director.
