Edward Nichols,Sr.,73,of Ohio street, Pricedale,died at his home,Monday,July 24,1950,at 12:15 p.m.,after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellen Nichlols, two sons, Edward,Jr. of Pricedale, and Jerry Edwin of Dayton,Ohio;four daughters, Mrs. Geoge P. Moyer of Dayton,Mrs. Joseph Molle and Mrs. Louis Boyd of Monessen and Miss Mary Ellen Nichols at home;seven brothers, John T. Nichols of Pricedale, William of Gibsonton,Dave of New Derry,Isaiah of Belle Vernon,Benjamin of Fayette City,James of Colonial and George of Pricedale and one sister, Sara Ann Bailey of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held there Thursday,July 27,1950,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. George Guest. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. Melenyzer is the funeral director.
