Ruth Nichols, 24,of 134 State street, Belle Vernon,died Saturday, January 15,1949,at 1:45 a.m. in the West Penn Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was employed as a bookkeeper and clerk for H. Weiss and Son, Belle Vernon. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Nichols,three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller of Lynnwood,Mrs. Harley Stewart of Ambridge and Mrs. Sarah Duda of Arnold City. Two brothers, Jack and Wendell also survive. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18.
