Mrs. Ellen Nowlin,aged 49 years,died Sunday,December 14,1947 at 2:58 a.m. at the Memorial hospital,Monongahela. Surviving are a daughter,Mrs.Gertrude Sturdivant of Monessen,two step-daughters,Mrs.Emma Grayson of Denver,Colo. and Ruth Edmunds,of Dallas,Ga.,two step-sons,Thomas Edmonds of Olty,Tex.and H.D.Edmonds of New Mexico. Friends are being received at the Whitaker Funeral Home on McMahon avenue. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon with the Rev.W.M.Parker officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edith M.Whitaker,funeral director in charge.
