Mrs. Elsie Malena Macer,aged 46 years,died Sat.,Mar.4,1950,at 2:15 a.m. at her home,1065 Highland avenue. She had been ailing for some time. She was a member of Monessen Court of Calanthe,59,where she was serving as worthy matron at the time of her demise. She was a member of the Star Bethlehem court,Order of the Eastern Star 34,and the Wayman A.M.E. Church. Surviving are three children, Donald,Mrs. Bernadine Turner and Alcia. Her father,Fred German of Monessen,also survives. Her husband,Benjamin Macer,died suddenly January 28,1950 of a heart attack in a local real estate office. Friends are being received at the Draper Funeral Home,where services will be held Wednesday,March 7 at 11 a.m. with Rev. L.A. Cousins, of the Wayman A.M.E.Church,officiating.
