Miss Sarah Morris,57,of 301 Fayette street,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Thursday,February 9,1950,at 3:30 a.m.,after an illness of ten days. She was a teacher at LaGrange School,Rostraver Township,for forty years. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Monessen,where whe was organist and teacher,and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star,Belle Vernon. She is survived by one brother,Edward of Munhall,three sisters,Mrs.Eva Bromwich of Charleroi,Mrs.Bertha Arn and Miss Winifred Morris of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held there Monday,February 13,1950,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev.R.M.Atwood. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer is the funeral director.
